The Helicopter Centre is recognized as a leading training specialist throughout Europe, students travelling from the UK, Germany and as far afield as Brazil to obtain their licence(s) with us.

We provide you with over 20 years of experience to make flying a pleasure whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety.

Our first helicopter business opened in the year 2001. We were based in the northeast of England - Liverpool to be precise - and flying conditions weren't always ideal. Lured by the promise of year-round sunshine, we made the move to Mallorca and set up The Helicopter Centre. Needless to say we have never looked back.

Based in Son Bonet Aerodrome, on the outskirts of capital city Palma, we have a passionate multilingual team, including Managing Director and Head of Training Stewart Jones, with more than 7000 hours of flight time under his belt, Chief Flying Instructor Javier Brtiu, Senior Flight Instructor Philippe Perraux and Compliance Manager Louise MacLeod. This wealth of experience translates to a pleasurable and, above all, safe flying experience.

For those who dream of being a pilot, you can start by dipping your toe in with a Trial Lesson, and then work towards an Internationally recognised Private Pilots Licence - PPLH.

We offer the full spectrum of training - including the radio licence, the ICAO English language test, the ATPL theory exams and the Commercial Flight Course CPLH. Not to mention Self Fly Hire, Hour Building packages and Type Rate Conversions. All of these elements combine to offer the highest possible level of flying skill, together with a foundation stone of theoretical knowledge. With our in-house examiners the course can be structured to your flying requirements. Meanwhile, for those who prefer to be the passenger, sit-back and enjoy a Pleasure Flight around this idyllic island, or maybe an island hop between Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza, or indulge in the ultimate helicopter dining package.
